Here’s how we’re filling them.
With the final month of summer already here, it’s a true sprint to the end. We try to cram everything in—all the road trips and vacations, all the rooftop barbecues, all the ice cream and Aperol Spritzes; we’re busy living our best summertime lives. But then we realize that September is just around the corner, which means “real life” is imminent, and for us at Coveteur, that means frantically preparing for Fashion Month. All the planning, traveling, scheduling, fashion shows and photo shoots that go along with it—yikes. Thus, the return of Get Your Sh*t Together Week, coming at you on Coveteur August 28th—September 2nd. It’s one of my favorite franchises, providing the best tips, tricks, and advice to help you stay calm, focused, and organized in the face of the end of summer and the start of “real” life.
In addition to being organized and on top of things (life in general), the second biggest thing we are hard at work on this month is our fall wardrobes. Thankfully our editorial and fashion director (and one of the most stylish people I know), Laurel Pantin, has come to the rescue in the form of an outstanding fall denim story featuring none other than Stranger Things star Natalia Dyer. Look for that very soon!
And don’t think we forgot about your skin! Every Sunday a Coveteur editor will break down her at-home Sunday Spa Routine, all with the hopes of helping you banish your Sunday Scaries and sending you off into the work week refreshed, glowing, and ready for anything. You can catch up on Tara and Hannah’s now.
Of course, planning and organizing are important, and we all want to present our most prepared (and best-dressed) self come September, but don’t forget to try to make the most of the last month of summer. If you happen to find yourself in the Hamptons, we are hosting some events that perfectly align with our August #goals. We teamed up with Coveteur favorite modelFit for South Hampton Sweat on August 5th, featuring three exclusive workouts. If you are in town, buy tickets or you can tune into our Facebook Live at 10am, 11am and 12pm. We are also partnering with the Human Rights Commission for their Millennial Pink Soiree taking place at Breakers in Montauk. Tickets are available here. Have fun, and as always, #treatyourself.
