Easy Cocktail Recipes to Make for Your 4th of July Party
Warning: You’re going to want more than one.
You better believe that we take our social time pretty seriously, especially when it comes to our annual staff summer soirée (don’t worry, guys, we’re not such alliterative assholes that we actually call it that). It didn’t take us long, though, to decide on one of our favorite Italian places in the city (that would be Toronto, for those of you who have missed the memo about our home base), Gusto 101. First of all because their rooftop patio is especially conducive to humid summer nights. But also because they have wine on tap (YAS) and are amenable to serving copious tequila shots and mix a few really, really good cocktails (read: strong).
It’s also nice when the bartender looks like Jon Snow’s long lost half-brother. Just saying. Either way, we liked these drinks so much (see: gin; prosecco), we asked for the recipes so we can DIY at COVETEUR HQ and pretend it’s our soirée. Although without Jon Snow Jr. mixing, we have to admit it’s not quite the same...
