Tagging Along for James Harden’s First-Ever Paris Men’s Fashion Week

Stylist Kesha McLeod was by his side as he attended fittings and shows, ran into friends, and even went onstage at a concert.

Over the past few years, we have seen a shift in the front row of fashion weeks. The seats that used to be reserved for editors are now being filled with a myriad of attendees. It’s refreshing. We were so excited that NBA player James Harden of the Houston Rockets was attending his first-ever Paris Men’s Fashion Week alongside stylist Kesha McLeod and invited us to follow along by way of their iPhone lenses. The two touched down in Paris and hit the ground running. “This [was] my sixth PFW, so I’m used to it, but we had to hustle, especially if we wanted to make everything on time. After the first show, James got the hang of it—fitting, styling, then off to the next show. Seeing various styles through a European lens not only provides inspiration for him, but for me as a visual architect—I’m constantly creating new looks [and] ways to push my clients’ taste forward in fashion. It was another one for the books, and I’m glad James trusted me with this opportunity. We had my friend Marcus Troy to capture it all for us,” McLeod told us. Click through the below to see everything that happened during Harden and McLeods fittings and shows, with a few cameos from Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union, and Tyga, and a quick stint onstage at Travis Scott’s show.
