It’s pride month! And the year’s best parade comes to New York City this Sunday. Although New Yorkers are notorious for wearing all black, the city is never more colorful than it is in June. The first pride parade ever took place in the city in 1970, and every year since then has only gotten louder and prouder, which means the rainbow flag is everywhere you turn.
