A lesson from BadGal Riri.
We need to talk about Rihanna. More accurately, we need to be more like Rihanna. Think about it—she’s the example of what life could be if we all stopped spiraling into perpetual self-doubt and would just ~be~. Blame it on social media and the never-not-working time we live in if you want, but Queen Fenty is proof life could be so much better if we stopped giving a fuck about the minuscule and mundane things that happen daily.
Ignore the Haters
Rihxample: Roll up the window.
Real life: Do you. As cliché as it sounds, don’t live for other people—live for yourself. If they want to judge, let them be amused.
Don’t Follow the Rules
Rihxample: Never leave a half-full glass of Merlot behind.
Real life: You probably can’t get away with walking out with stolen glassware full of wine, but there’s something to be said about bending rules. Throw caution to the wind, and you might just have a fucking good time.
Make Your Life Into Something You Can Be Proud Of
Rihxample: Be Rihanna
Real life: In the words of Rihanna (because there’s a theme here), work, work, work, work, work...for what you want in life. And no, it doesn’t have to be money or fame.
You Have Limited Fucks to Give
Rihxample: Twerk in a naked dress
Real life: Choose your fucks wisely. Don’t stress the small stuff—at the end of the day, it affects you more than others. But speak up when you feel like it’s right.
