Even when the weather outside *isn’t* so frightful.
While it hasn’t really started snowing yet (can we just pretend it might not happen this year?) it has been pouring rain and crazy-chilly in the North-East. This means our go-to Gucci loafers are no longer an option. Sad.
We’re staring down the barrel of four to six months trudging through slush and freezing rain, and we plan to do it in a pair of good-looking boots, damnit! Since, sadly, your brand-new embellished pair of high-heeled booties are very likely not waterproof, or, you know, practical at all, we turned to one of our most stylish friends, Cosmo’s Fashion Market Editor, Tiffany Reid, to find out how she deals with winter awfulness.
“This boot is the essential winter classic in my book, and an affordable essential at that. They never go out of style, especially a fresh pair. You can wear them drudging through the snow and even if you’re not doing heavy-duty outdoor activity (which they are made for) and just getting in and out of Ubers!” —Tiffany Reid
