The New Cozy Toronto Bar You’ve Been Waiting For

Disclosure: it’s practically overflowing with plants and cacti.

The New Cozy Toronto Bar You’ve Been Waiting For
Jaclyn Locke

Three things that rank pretty high on our list of life necessities are plants, alcohol (don’t judge), and food. So when a cute new snack spot, Pray Tell Bar, popped up in Toronto that is practically built around these three things, we were pretty certain that we would be spending quite a bit of time there. Upon entering the bar for the first time one Friday afternoon, all of our assumptions were confirmed: this was 100% going to be our new hangout spot. An entire wall filled with every type of plant imaginable, wood and marble everywhere, blue and white China plates that were practically made for Instagram (again, don’t judge), an amazing cocktail list, and the greatest bar stools wed ever laid eyes on (trust us, we could go on forever). Upon chatting with the owners, Nickie Minshall and Dustin Keating, we came to realize that they built the place all. by. themselves (naturally, we wanted to know more, so we sat down with Minshall to get the BTS details). If you live in Toronto (or you’re just visiting), love a good sharing-style menu (who doesn’t?), and are looking for a new hot spot to take your friends and dates, your search is over. Happy eating and drinking, friends.
