Alessandra Brawn

Going through Alessandra Brawn’s wardrobe is like going through your own personal Moda Operandi wishlist. As in, every single piece in her massive walk-in closet situated in the back of her Noho apartment makes you weak in the knees. Whether that’s the bucket load of CHANEL bags, metallic purple Gucci skirts, or every single shoe you could ever need (ladylike Manolo pumps, Budweiser-themed Greats *and* studded Alaïa stilettos). But that kind of sums of Brawn in a nutshell—she’s a little bit rock and roll, with her vintage Iron Maiden t-shirt on the living room swing (yes, swing) and a little bit girly, clad in a floral fairytale garden party Preen gown.

And her career path has followed suit, too. After putting in time in public relations for Kiki de Montparnasse (she’s a self proclaimed lingerie enthusiast), Brawn moved on to serve as CEO at Chapel. That would be the vintage t-shirt line with a super loyal following—think: Rihanna, Kanye and Pharrell— that she runs along with husband Jon Neidich (the restaurateur behind NYC haunts like Acme, and fellow vintage band tee enthusiast), and Chapel founder Patrick Matamoros. Where her day-to-day of hunting down and finding customers the rarest and oldest vintage around, is some kind of religion. Trust us, when Patrick and Alessandra took us through just some of the archives, it kind of blew our minds. But that paled in comparison to how much we found ourselves really wanting to take home that one velvet CHANEL bag.
