Having fun with fashion—that’s what it’s supposed to be about, right? Especially after fashion week, with its unsmiling front rows, where it’s all so serious. It’s always good (and wise) to remember that this is supposed to be fun. Sometimes it takes visiting someone like Matthew Mazur, (you probably know him by his DJ stage name-slash-Instagram handle, Mazurbate), who loves fashion for all the right reasons: because it’s hilarious and ridiculous and amazing, and makes you feel fabulous.

It took us one look inside his XXL cupboard of collectible designer bags to realize we were dealing with a true fashion *fan*—largely because it was stuffed full with what might be maybe every Dior Saddle ever made (including two versions of that newspaper print one made famous by you-know-who), plus a cart-load of Louis Vuitton and Fendi (Baguettes, of course).

Then again, Mazur came into the industry working for Jeremy Scott, the ultimate king of fun, fabulous everything (he has the Moschino to show for it). And now, between DJing for Rihanna’s parties (he happens to own a piece or two gifted from Bad Gal Riri herself) and at every other party that’s actually a party (no 'champagne cocktails' here), he’s also been called upon by K-pop star CL to be her creative director. As far as we’re concerned, the more people drinking the Mazurbate cocktail, the better.
