Skincare Resolution #3: Maximize Our Beauty Sleep
The retinol treatment with results so they're good; they're kind of scary.
When it comes to skincare, it's all too easy to slide into a groove once you find something that works for you. And while that's all good and fine, when new concerns (ahem, WTF, wrinkles?) start cropping up, it's time for a change. Which brings us to this week's resolutions: introduce new, science-y, clinically-informed skincare solutions that can go toe-to-toe with professional procedures and treatments, into Team TC's beauty routines with a little help from our friends at Sephora. Here goes nothin'!

I feel very fortunate that the only skin issue I deal with is a case of majorly dry skin. In my mind, I do have a very young looking face for someone pushing 30 (thanks mom!) but have noticed a difference in the way my skin has started behaving in the last couple years. Yup, this is me acknowledging my wrinkles are starting to show themselves. Enter, Kate Somerville's DermalQuench Liquid Lift™ + Retinol Advanced Resurfacing Treatment (write that down, ASAP).
In a nutshell, this treatment is basically an angelic, powerhouse, dream treatment. The results after the first couple days of using truly amazed me. And scared me a little, if I'm being honest. In the best way possible.

After I washed my face at night, I would put a small amount onto my finger tips and spread onto my face, specifically, my forehead. Once applied, I’d follow up with some moisturizer and then call it a day. There was some tingling, but I assumed this was just my skin getting used to the ingredients and passed right out.
By the next morning, I kid you not, I could see a difference in my skin (and basically had a new face—in the best way possible). I felt like I was glowing. Over the next couple of weeks, my skin continued to get smoother and healthier AND it wasn’t as dry, too. Since the treatment contains Retinol, I'd recommended wearing sunscreen daily; so I've swapped my moisturizer with one that has SPF. This is one seriously powerful product. Bring it on, 30.”
