Everything we want right now.

"I'm currently working on different projects and I'm really excited since I can express a different side of my creative thinking in each. I really think everyone should express each part of their inner world to keep connected with others and I can 100% do that with my job."

Guys—there’s so damn much to look forward to right now. We’ve just dipped our fresh pedis into summer and already our social calendars are more jam-packed than our Mansur Gavriels: long weekends are studded with music festivals, midday barbecues and cottage getaways, and workdays stretch into lazy evenings spent sipping bottled-sunshine beers on patios. Not too hard to take, is it?

But if there’s one first-world problem that plagues us with the seasons, it’s a genuine, red-hot hatred for our wardrobes. We’d finally come to terms with our turtlenecks and cocoon coats, and then June 1st comes around and it’s all we can do not to go all Bling Ring on the next closet we shoot.*

Needless to say, it’s time to prioritize. Here are all the shoes, chiffon and shimmer on early-summer wishlists.

*Lawyer’s note: kidding.

June Most CovetedTHE EASY BREEZY BEAUTIFUL SUMMER DRESS

Poll any group of guys—if there’s one wholly opposite sex-endorsed item in a girl’s wardrobe, it’s a summer dress. Not that we ever sanction dressing for male approval (see: Muppet coats, overalls and anything remotely high-waisted) but it’s a good tidbit to keep in your cut-off pocket, right? We’ve graduated the look from collegiate-on-spring-break to yes-I-am-employed-it’s-just-the-weekend by channeling all things Chloe SS15—think chiffon, and exaggerated lace, and balloon sleeves.

ALL THE FEELS FOR ESPADRILLES

We’re all for a luxe, laidback flat. And one that we can wear with literally any outfit we throw together before racing out the door? That’s a summer staple in our books. We’ve been lusting after a pair of buttery-leather Proenza Schoulers with a black-and-white woven raffia flatform.

Side note: it physically pains us to pronounce it ‘espadr-eels’ and not ‘espadr-ees’. Our grade-school French is rolling in its grave.

June's Most CovetedTHE NOT-YOUR-YEARBOOK-PHOTO DENIM SKIRT

Whenever we think of denim skirts, we can’t help but throw it back to that fateful day in 2001 when Britney and Justin decided to drape themselves in what we can only imagine to be 50 pounds of matching denim, complete with acid-washed cowboy hat and clutch. Hashtag jean-age dream. While we won’t be wearing floor-skimming patchwork indigo in the foreseeable future (or at least we hope not), denim skirts have that Seventeen Magazine nostalgia we’re drawn to like a middle-schooler to Dr. Pepper Lip Smackers.

June's Most CovetedSHIMMER SHIMMER SHAKE

After a quarter-lifetime of beauty mishaps, we’ve amassed a few not-so-secret fears: mascara gone rogue, forgetting to blend in under-eye concealer, and, most of all, accidental disco-ball body shimmer. Just the slightest heavier-than-usual hand can take your collarbone from ‘healthy glow’ to ‘Twilight extra’ with one fowl swipe. But we think we’ve finally found the secret to getting that Glow by J. Lo: shimmering body oil. Slather it on like moisturizer and you’re left with that subtle (and totally idiot-proof) beachy sheen.
