2015 Horoscope: Pisces
Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac, and astrologers know that each sign builds on the sign that came before, so Pisces is considered the wise sign, a compilation of all the signs that preceded it, starting with Aries. As the third water sign, Pisces’ emotions run very deep. While Cancer, the first water sign, will do anything for a family member, and Scorpio, the second water sign, will go to extremes to help the spouse, the life-long love. Pisces, the third water sign, will take the shirt off her back to help a complete stranger. Ask a Pisces—she will have stories to tell of how she’s helped people she didn’t know but knew she had to do so. She will also say “it was nothing…”

Pisces rules the sea, where Joseph Campbell wrote is the place that the collective consciousnesses of all human beings mingle as one. There are no fences in the sea, so all people’s dreams, past and future, and of all nationalities, ethnicities and religions, mingle as one. Pisces does not see or focus on the differences among people, but instead, the similarities. The mission for Pisces, always, is to relieve suffering in others. Her capacity for empathy and compassion is unequaled by any other sign.

Pisces is not a materialistic sign, so money will not sway her to commit to new ventures. Money is not the motivator. The capacity to contribute her depth of creativity will excite her, and if you are lucky enough to have a Pisces on your team, there will be no limit to the creative ideas you can generate toegther. It has been said that Pisces is the most creative sign, even more so than Leo, for Pisces rules the subconscious, so her ideas come from so deep within her psyche that she has no idea where her superb concepts emanate.

Pisces knows if the venture is successful that the universe will take care of her and the money will flow to her quite naturally. This must be why Forbes magazine says there are more Pisces millionaires than any other sign—Pisces pays attention to the product or service, to make it the best it can be. She will do much for charity too, if given the chance.

Singer, songwriter, entertainer and entrepreneur Rihanna (February 20) is a perfect example of a successful Pisces. Music comes under the domain of Pisces’ ruler, Neptune, and at only 26, Rihanna has won more awards in the competitive world of music than most people can even dream of winning in a lifetime. According to Wikipedia, “Rihanna has sold over 30 million albums and 120 million singles worldwide, making her one of the best-selling musical artists of all time. In the United States, Rihanna has sold over 10 million albums, while Nielsen SoundScan ranked her as the best-selling digital artist in the country, breaking a Guinness World Record for digital single sales of over 58 million as of 2012. Her collaboration with Eminem, "Love the Way You Lie," together with "Umbrella," "Disturbia," "Only Girl (In the World)" "We Found Love," and "Diamonds," are some of the best-selling singles of all time worldwide. To get through reading the Wikipedia page on Rihanna’s awards and successes, it will take you 30 minutes.

As busy as Rihanna is, she still finds time to do much for charity. According to Wikipedia, in 2006, Rihanna created her Believe Foundation to help terminally ill children. To raise awareness and combat HIV/AIDS, Rihanna and other public figures designed clothing for the February 2008 H&M Fashion Against AIDS line and in 2008, Rihanna performed a series of charity concerts entitled A Girl's Night Out[289] to benefit the Believe Foundation she had started. Admission was free to the public, so money from sponsors and advertisers were donated to provide medical supplies, school supplies and toys to the children in need at the Foundation. In February 2012, Rihanna performed a benefit show at the House of Blues in Los Angeles to raise money for the Children's Orthopedic Center and The Mark Taper-Johnny Mercer Artists Program at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, to great success.

In November 2012, Rihanna gave $100,000 to food bank donation for Hurricane Sandy, and the following month, Rihanna donated $1.75 million to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Bridgetown, Barbados, the country of her nativity. In November 2013, Rihanna pledged £61,000 to UNICEF, to help the victims of the typhoon in Philippines. These are simply highlights of Rihanna’s charity giving—there are more, too numerous to cite here.

The fashion industry adores Rihanna, as she takes many fashion risks on the red carpet, and thanks to her Pisces ability to be a chameleon (a Pisces talent and hallmark) she continues to reinvent her style--and wins at taking those fashion risks most times. She understands the entertainment value of wearing beautiful, creative outfits and her adoring public cannot not get enough of her. She has shown talent for fashion design, and actually had four showings in 2013 of a line of clothing she designed in collaboration with her stylist in London. On June 2, 2014, Rihanna received the Fashion Icon Award from the 2014 Council of Fashion Designers of America at the Lincoln Center. Rihanna has proven herself to be a true talent, and at the age of 26, seems to have many more surprises up her sleeve.

Heels or Flats?

This year Pisces’ talents will be in high demand. More assignments will come to you than you would possibly handle, so choose among the ones that excite you the most, and that have the longest term potential. Pisces likes to work on their own time, so it appears you’ll be self-employed, or, at the very least, working on your projects at home, wearing leggings, a pretty top and ballet flats—after all, Fed Ex will probably show up early, and you will need to look presentable when you sign for the packages. Saturn is now in your tenth house of fame, so you, and Rihanna, will be starting a new venture, and it will be one that will significantly raise your profile for all in the world to see. For presentations, interviews and when you meet the press, you will need your high heels.

Your Power Colors:

Pisces power colors are always the pale and icy blues, from blue-violet, light turquoise, pale sea green, lavender to violet, and pale purple to purest whites.

Your Best Feature:

The feet, so show off your feet with new shoes! Beauty must: Beautifully pedicured and polished toes, done regularly each month.

Your Personal Style:

The night seems to belong to Pisces, when she can shimmer in the moonlight, wearing her princess gowns and outfits she puts together from a wide variety of sources, including thrift shops and vintage stores. Pisces easily finds beauty and inspiration from places others overlook. This sign loves to dress up, the more sparkling the better. Keep in mind that the fish has gills that sparkle under water—she loves sequins, rhinestones and of course, diamonds too!

The vintage look suits Pisces because she enjoys putting her outfit together in an eclectic way, in the way a costume designer might dress an actor—expressing all the character’s qualities accurately and in the blink of an eye—and you will have it right. (Others look at the way you dress, dear Pisces, and they ask themselves, “Why didn’t I think of that?”) The Pisces look is usually soft and feminine—this Pisces angel enjoys dreamy transparent, gauzy fabrics that drape beautifully for day or night. Think of such fabrics as georgette, tulle, thin crepe, or chiffon. For evening, Pisces also would love wearing silk organza. Pisces rules the feet, so of course, she adores high heels too!

In 2015, you may want to wear winter white for all seasons—it will bring beautiful light to your face. Wear all white—a coat, dress, sweater, pants—and you will stand out as the star that you were born to be. Also this year, invest in a “twirl” skirt, which will set off your tiny waist and pretty legs. The soft look of transparency in the skirt, from above the knee, extending to tea length, may appeal to you too. Additionally, the white blouse has become a wonderful wardrobe staple—make it soft silk or crepe with long sleeves that will look just right on you.

For evening, a fantasy ball gown or short cocktail dress in silk taffeta by Zac Posen, with his 1940’s Hollywood glamour inspirations, would be perfect for you, dear ultra-romantic Pisces. Or, look for a soft, float-y dress in silk chiffon to transform yourself into a vision.

Velvet seems to be coming in as a trend too—keep your eye on that for a jacket, dress, pants or an accessory. The trend has not taken root yet, but seems to be on the way.

And of course, no wardrobe would be complete for Pisces without new shoes! Include: Ballet slippers, flats, high-heeled strappy sandals for evening. Pisces feet often hurt, but add some Jimmy Choos and Christian Louboutins anyway for those special nights out.

Career & Life Forecast:

Another part of this trend relates to your health and fitness, for you currently have Jupiter, the great healer, touring your sixth house of preventative health, that is, the actions you take to bolster your health. You may take a renewed interest in getting fit, and/or you may take up meditation, yoga, tai chi or join a vigorous group fitness class. Having Jupiter in this part of your chart until August 2015 means you will have a superb chance to lose weight if that is a goal for you. You will have the ability to design a program that makes eating right fun, and you’ll want to follow your new plan for a long time into the future, at least twelve years, for you are starting a new cycle in the realm of health. As you see, you have an extraordinary opportunity to succeed in all health matters, even if you have tried in the past to tackle a health, weight or fitness goal and have been disappointed. A new day is dawning, dear Pisces.

If you have been concerned about a health matter, this is the right time to seek advice from your doctor or to get a second opinion. Even if you say your health was not good last year (and Jupiter has been in this same area of your chart since last July 2014 when this health and fitness trend first started) it means that the problem was coming to the surface, perhaps having been latent, so that you could see it and get it fixed.

When Jupiter moves into your opposite sign of Pisces—Virgo—on August 11, you will enter into a thirteen month period that will be the finest possible for marriage. You may get engaged and married during this period, and if you choose to do so while this trend is at play, from August 11, 2015 to September 9, 2016, you will have chosen the best time in twelve years to do so. Be sure to avoid the period when Venus will be retrograde, July 25 to September 6, 2015, for when Venus retrogrades, she withholds her greatest powers of love, affection, joy and beauty. If you are already wed, this year and next you will see your partner do exceptionally well, and you will benefit from your partner’s prosperity.

If you feel you will not marry anytime soon, nor are married now, you can use this same energy for setting up a very profitable business partnership, or acquire an excellent collaborator to work with you one-on-one, such as an agent, publicist, manager, lawyer, writing partner, or other expert to help you get ahead. The union should turn out to be superb, for that person will allow you to shine. Act after mid-August throughout the end of the year.

Full Profile:

Pisces is the third and final water sign, deeply compassionate, intuitive, and creative. The look you often choose is soft, feminine and for evening, often quite glamorous.

When you think of Pisces’ colors, think of the softened colors of the heath after the fog has rolled in or of San Francisco Bay at twilight. Conjure up Monet’s Water Lilies painting, with its canvas smudged with shades of blue from palest to darkest, soft turquoise, sea green and the ranges of purples, from violets to lavenders, with whispers of pale pink. Look down at the warm and crystal-clear Caribbean waters from a plane, and you will see shades of turquoise you never knew existed. Think of the purest and palest mint-green hues of a mighty Niagara Falls and all its frothy clean, lacy water falling fast and furiously over gigantic rocks. Water will always be magnetically hypnotic, frightening and yet at the same time cleansing and spiritual. To Pisces, opposites or inconsistencies are simply a part of nature, mysteries to be celebrated.

Pisces’ colors are found not only in the deepest parts of the sea, but also on the magical and enchanting fish that inhabit the mysterious, uninvestigated waters below the earth. They seem to be parts of another world, another planet. Think of all these images and you will have touched Pisces soul, the third and final water sign. Yet there is more-- look up at the sky on certain nights and see a sky spotted with a million hues of blue, as if stained with tears. Pisces, a highly emotional sign, will always rule the blues and watercolors of every description.

Pisces is born when the season is darkest, symbolizing the pre-dawn of spring, Pisces colors echo the frozen landscape, of icy blue and violet, so pale you can barely see the blush of color beneath the surface. These watery colors are similar to that of the whisper of blue you see on a baby’s eyelids when it sleeps or of objects, fish and flora trapped below a pond in petrified beauty. Later nature will bring on the spring thaw, allowing life to again breathe free. For now, Jack Frost can have a field day.

Pisces comes from the great mythological Olympic god Poseidon and as such is a sun sign whose emotions are as embracing and all encompassing as the fog. Water is pure and even sometimes thought to be holy, an especially fitting association for Pisces, the spiritual and for some, and a religious sign. Its ruler, Neptune, saw to it that Pisces would embrace the concept of universal love, hence, the sea, that has no boundaries is a fitting symbol for this sign. It is true that Pisces’ capacity for empathy and sympathy knows no bounds. The color blue only hints at their unfathomable emotional depth

Pisces rules fairy tales and the magic kingdom. Her favorite story is Cinderella, for it centers on a shoe---and as a Pisces, you loves shoes more than you can guess. A modern day Carrie Bradshaw, you never has enough Jimmy Choos and Manolo Blatniks. Ruling the feet, Pisces has to be happy about how her feet looks before you can get on with life. To be forced to wear ugly shoes is indeed a sorry state of affairs.

Pisces clothing tends to flow and be soft—the Pisces’ beauty, ruled by the amorphous sign of Neptune, cannot stand to be restricted or restrained. Her favorite fabrics are velvet, cut silk, silk charmuse, georgette, chiffon, silk gauze, tulle, silk organza, and angora—all feminine and seductive to the touch. If her feminine style isn’t in fashion at the moment, it will be, soon, and you would be willing to sit out the dance. Yet this year you are in luck for fashion has turned ultra feminine and soft, just her style, and you’ll have plenty to choose from.

When the Pisces woman chooses clothing, being admired or envied is never her aim, but rather she strives to be uniquely, individually herself. Understatement appeals to her, and sometimes you even choose to make herself invisible. In fact, sometimes the Pisces woman will dress down if she will be with you---she will do this so that you can be the star. This is a similar attitude to the custom in Japan that says the thoughtful hostess should wear her plainest gray kimono when entertaining, as to not outshine her guests. (Not surprisingly, Pisces rules Asia too.)

Pisces is best known for her vast and limitless subconscious a reservoir from which you can draw from to create things of poetic art. Pisces will always be the sign of dreams, weaving her richest tapestries in the depths of her sleep. Indeed, Pisces has a remarkable ability to project herself into a time and space, continually able to make herself new. Her sign rules costume design, Hollywood, and the movies, hence, you can become quite the glam girl when you puts her mind to it.

Whether you is wearing a crisp white cotton nightgown edged in lace, or a fabulous black-tie satin evening gown, it is you who wears the outfit and it is never the other way around. Pisces stars, from Elizabeth Taylor to Sharon Stone, from Queen Latifah to the late Jean Harlow all have proven themselves to possess marvelous chameleon quality. Pisces’ will quietly change and become reborn through the process of evolved maturity and her ever present, rich imagination.

Yes, in Pisces you will discover shades of blue you haven’t yet imagined. Those watercolors are beamed at birth into the Pisces subconscious, waiting to be pulled up to the surface by this dreamer and shared with the world. Her flowers are violets, lilies, white orchids and narcissus, and her tree the weeping willow. Pisces cares not for material things because her large and soulful eyes are firmly fixed on the horizon of eternity. She is a vision, a dream, and later, you’ll never be sure you’ve really met her. Is she simply a wish that you made in your heart or she real? She will tell you if you’re good and kind. If I were you, I’d stick around.
