The 18 Best Beauty Products That Launched in July

From a radical new serum blush to a limited-edition CBD bath soak.

By: Hannah Baxter

July is the ideal month for less-is-more with beauty, and considering the recent scorching temperatures, we’ll admit that we’re guilty of throwing on a layer of sunscreen and calling it a day. But that doesn’t mean we’ve stopped searching for the absolute best in hair, skin care, makeup, and fragrance—this is the time of year when final summer collections drop, which means there’s lots of delicious new products to test. Even if youre streamlining your summer skin-care or makeup routines, it cant hurt to invest in something new and shiny, right? Right! From a $310 retinol treatment to a $13 hair recovery mask, check out our 18 favorites below.

BeautyStat Universal C Skin Refiner, $80

Cosmetic chemist Ron Robinson formulated his new vitamin C serum with an encapsulation system in order to keep the highly unstable ingredient from oxidizing too quickly. That means a longer shelf life and a much more effective product (especially with a whopping 20 percent vitamin C concentration).

Algenist ELEVATE Firming and Lifting Neck Cream, $84

Given our obsession with our phones, many of us are developing lines across our necks that the previous generations never dealt with. That’s why a quality neck cream is important to keep the skin hydrated and to target existing wrinkles before they get worse. This is our current favorite (plus, it’s completely vegan).

NatureLab. Tokyo Perfect Shine Clarifying Scalp Scrub, $16

We love a scalp scrub to help remove any product buildup and keep our hair and skin healthy. This formula’s exfoliating sugar crystals clear debris, and the probiotic sake water balances your skin’s pH.

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Diamonds, $34

Charlotte Tilbury’s cult-favorite Pillow Talk lipstick just got a sparkly upgrade with these two new shades, which contain mineral-based glitter pigments. The Pillow Talk–inspired shades are ideal for a sun-kissed summer look.

Orveda Biotic-Full Eyes Duo, $89

This two-part eye treatment includes a brightening mousse to neutralize dark circles as well as a cream made specifically for your upper lid to soften, hydrate, and lift. That means the most visible signs of aging are minimized and your eyes are noticeably soothed.

Augustinus Bader The Body Cream, $165

Founder and professor Augustinus Bader applies his same expertise in regenerative medicine to this new body cream as his original best-selling formulas for the face. Skin appears firmer, toned, and deeply moisturized all day long.

Westman Atelier Baby Cheeks in Chouchette, $50

A peachy nude shade has joined the Westman Atelier family of blushes, and trust us when we say that it looks stunning on absolutely everyone. The multipurpose stick is easy to apply and contains no parabens, PEGs, talc, phthalates, or synthetic fragrances.

Tom Ford MÉTALLIQUE, $150

Fans of warm white flower will fall in love with Tom Ford’s latest release—he is the winner of the Fragrance Foundation’s Hall of Fame award, after all. Additional notes of vert de bergamote and pink peppercorns make this one of the most intriguing new scents of the season.

True Botanicals Calming CBD Bath Soak, $50

Quality CBD products work wonders on relaxing the body and soothing sore muscles, which is why we’re so eager to enjoy this limited-release bath soak. Treat yourself—you deserve it.

Dyson Wide-Tooth Comb Attachment, $40

It’s long overdue for a major hair brand to manufacture a dryer comb attachment for natural and textured hair, but we’re happy to see Dyson stepping up to the plate.

ELEMIS Ultra Smart Pro-Collagen Aqua Infusion Mask, $180

Humectants (a popular skin-care additive) attract water, which, when used in a product, plumps and hydrates your skin cells. Elemis harnesses this ingredient by using powerful sodium hyaluronate, along with red algae and orange African bulbine to improve the appearance of wrinkles and overall skin texture.

YSL Beauty Sequin Crush Mono Eyeshadow, $30

Nothing makes us happier than adding a touch of shimmer to our makeup routine, so obviously we’re stocking up on all nine of YSL Beauty’s new eyeshadows. The glitter and metallic shades deliver high-impact color that refuse to crease.

Dr. Brandt Hyaluronic Facial Cream, $72

Four different sizes of hyaluronic acid, plus five peptides help reshape the appearance of face wrinkles and plump the skin, so you look like you always get at least eight hours of sleep a night.

Giorgio Armani Beauty Light di Gioia Eau de Parfum, $74

If you’re still searching for your scent of the summer, this might just be it. A floral, green, woody fragrance with crisp notes of Italian citrus, jasmine, and white gardenia.

Essie Yes I Canyon Nail Polish, $9

Although this new polish is part of Essie’s summer trilogy collection, we predict everyone will be wearing this gorgeous burnt orange come fall.

Clé de Peau Beauté Wrinkle Smoothing Serum Supreme, $310

We all know retinol is the hero ingredient for fighting fine lines and wrinkles, and now Clé de Peau Beauté has further stabilized the formula for maximum effectiveness. And if that’s not glam enough for you, added platinum, golden silk, and pearl elements hydrate and retexturize the skin while protecting it from environmental damage.

My Black is Beautiful Intense Recovery Treatment, $13

Cultural platform My Black is Beautiful launched their first-ever product line this month, and they’re all under $20 (what?!). This moisturizing treatment saves processed and dry hair from breakage, while simultaneously repairing so that your hair is shiny and manageable.

EM Cosmetics Color Drops Serum Blush, $25

Michelle Phan’s innovative new blush has unfortunately already sold out, and we can see why. The unique texture blends seamlessly into the skin for a healthy flush of color. It’s buildable yet dewy, so check back often to snag one for yourself.
