Get Ready to Glow—Fenty Beauty Is Launching 8 New Bronzers
Rihanna has blessed us with year-round vacation vibes.
Just when you thought you were doomed to a season of dull, lifeless skin, our patron saint, Rihanna, goes and announces her newest Fenty Beauty creation: Sun Stalk’r Instant Warmth Bronzer. And, of course, since this is RiRi we’re talking about, she’s not about to launch just one shade; no, there are an unprecedented *eight* shades in her new collection. For comparison, cult-favorite Anastasia Beverly Hills has six bronzer shades, while many other brands are limited to just one or two.
Whether you’re on the fairer end of the spectrum—where bronzer can sometimes look muddled—or have a deeper complexion and can rarely find bronzers that actually show up on your skin, the eight soft-matte powder shades promise to deliver “easy-to-use instant warmth” for an all-over glow or a contour, per the brand’s press release. According to Fenty Beauty’s Instagram, the line took over two years to develop, and truly, if it makes us resemble anything remotely close to Rihanna and her otherworldly glow, we’ll be stocking up on all eight bronzers. Seriously, her cheekbones could cut glass in that photo.
Since the brand debuted its “summer takeover” with the revival of Body Lava in a new Trophy Wife shade last month, and it’s entering a whole new makeup category with bronzers, we’ll be anxiously awaiting what else Fenty Beauty has in its product arsenal during the next few weeks.
