How a Pair of Victoria’s Secret Wings Are Actually Made

While descending down the runway, Victoria’s Secret’s infamous angel wings steal the show. Wearing them is an exciting moment in a models career, but beyond that, the wings are intricate pieces that take months of planning and expert craftsmanship to execute. To see how the infamous wings are made, we paid a visit to Killer, a veteran VS artist who takes the wings from sketches to reality.

Upon walking into Killer’s Brooklyn studio, we were hit with a sensory overload of feathers, crystals (Swarovski, natch), fabrics, and adornments of every shape and size. Killer was kind enough to walk us from the idea to the finished product—watch how it all happens in the video above.
