Shop The Last Line Founders’ Closet Staples for Fall

The glitz and glam go beyond their bejeweled designs.

By: Carolina Dalia Gonzalez

Business partners and power couple Shelley and Teddy Sanders have built their celebrated jewelry brand, The Last Line, by embracing a fun and colorful aesthetic. Obviously, that meant that their closet would be just as enticing, and wow, did our jaws drop when we saw their closets full of CHANEL goodies and vintage treasures. After raiding the entirety of their Los Angeles wardrobe, we discovered that amongst the standout statement pieces, they had plenty of lighthearted pieces mixed in as well, like Teddy’s converse collection and Shelley’s heart-eye sunnies. Like their jewelry line, this husband-and-wife team is all about keeping their respective styles eye-catching without taking fashion too seriously. In a nutshell, its all very California. Check out three of their favorite styling rules below!

1. GO FOR THE GLITZY SUNNIES

Shelley’s accessories closet was filled to the brim with adorable heart-shaped sunglasses. Cat-eye sunglasses may have infiltrated everyone’s wish list this past summer, but we’re calling oversized heart and jewel-accented sunnies as the next major accessories trend. Pick out a fun and funky pair to brighten up a fall look.

2. A VINTAGE T-SHIRT CAN GIVE ANY OUTFIT CHARACTER

A noticeable favorite in Teddy’s closet was his extensive vintage t-shirt collection. You cant go wrong mixing a graphic tee with leather skinnies or your beloved Levis 501s. Whether its a t-shirt you stole from your dad’s closet or a concert tee from middle school, show it some love!

3. DON'T FORGET ABOUT TWEED THIS FALL

Tweed jackets are synonymous with CHANEL and are a wardrobe staple for Shelley. Add a spin to the iconic fabric, and pick up some tweed pieces for your fall wardrobe. It might be the epitome of prep, but school is in session anyway.
