According to Pinterest, These Are the Top Travel Spots & Tips for 2018
You know what’s the best feeling ever? Booking a vacation while technically on vacation. Just keep em coming in 2018, people! That’s exactly what we’re planning on doing during our holiday break this month—planning all our getaways for the coming year.

We get an extra-special thrill from finding the must-visit spots before all our friends do (and therefore before our Instagram feeds get flooded with pics of the same spots), so we turned to Pinterest to find out the must-visit spots of 2018 before anyone else does, and the best ways to plan your getaways.

Desert Spots

There’s something about desert colors (and the warm days and cool nights) that feel super right right now. Saves for vacations in Morocco, Dubai, Atacama Desert, and Joshua Tree are up 125 percent this year.

Local Tips

Feel allergic to looking (and acting) like a tourist? Seek out tips on where to stay, what to do, and where to eat from locals—saves for “local travel” are up 146 percent.

Mediterranean Islands

Into dramatic island landscapes, crystal blue water, warm weather, and healthy food? The Mediterranean is probably for you. Saves for terms like “Croatian Islands” and “Mykonos” are up 96 percent.

River Cruises

If traditional cruise cruises feel a little played out, consider a river cruise (may we suggest Vietnam, Germany, or Egypt?). “River cruise” saves are up 346 percent.

Mexico City

Mexico City has a little bit of everything—history, great food, great style, and amazing art. Saves have increased 96 percent for the Mexican city.
