18 Gifts for the Streetwear-Lover in Your Life

This week’s inspo? Joe La Puma. Aka a well-cultured, extremely tasteful guy.

By: Jodi Taylor

Sometimes the men in our lives—whether they’re boyfriends, best friends, or family—can be the toughest people to buy gifts for. Not because we don’t know what they like, but because they’re the type of people to go out and get whatever they want on their own. Either that or they’re being seeded product left, right, and center, leaving you to wonder how the hell you’re going to find them anything they don’t already own for the holidays.

This year, we’re turning to Cov alum Joe La Puma for inspiration. Not only does the host of Complex’s Sneaker Shopping have impeccable taste, but he always seems to be up to date on what’s poppin’. So if your friend/boyfriend/family member is anything like La Puma, we highly suggest you buy one (or all) of the below.

READING MATERIAL IS ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA

In every streetwear-lover’s home lies a bookshelf stacked with iconic magazines and books, which they turn to for inspiration more often than you think. Add another book to that shelf this year (we’re thinking of the fashion or art variety), and they’ll be thanking you for all of 2018.

DON’T UNDERESTIMATE A GOOD ACCESSORY

While track pants and a good long-sleeve are the go-to, this type of guy isn’t impartial to a good accessory—especially if it’s Kith x Moncler gloves or a pair of Vintage Frames sunglasses. Wrap up any of these, and we promise he’ll be smiling from ear to ear.

OR A DOPE ACCESSORY FOR HIS HOUSE

Chances are high that your friend is just as into accessories for his home as he is for himself. Drop one of the below pieces into your shopping cart, and feel safe knowing that he’ll have a spot practically waiting for it in his home.
