There’s no such thing as *too* much hydration.

While some of us think of Sunday as a dreamy escape from the workweek, a final repose before the Monday grind beckons us once again, I like to think of it as Saturday Part II. The pressure to fill another day with weekend-like activities usually means I’m not using the second S-day to wind down and recharge, as I should, but to squeeze the last precious drops of fun-juice out of the 48 hours that don’t require me to be sitting at a desk.

That said, I do appreciate the art of unplugging and winding down. Every night I religiously follow a 10-step Korean routine on my face, and Sunday is when I really ramp it up.

These are my no-fail products for skin that make me look like I actually spent the whole weekend sleeping.

A long, luxurious shower is key to starting off the spa routine right (and for washing away the last lingering bits of my hangover). To soothe my super-dry skin and random bouts of keratosis pilaris, I like to scrub with Kiehl’s Gently Exfoliating Body Scrub in Lavender.

My scalp tends to get really dry and flaky, especially as the weather cools down. Briogeo’s Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-Exfoliating Shampoo smells amazing and works better than anything I’ve ever tried.

Next, I slather the Nature Republic Natural Olive Scalp Cooling Hair Pack at my roots while simultaneously working the Éprouvage Reparative Treatment Masque through my ends. I crank the water just a *smidge* hotter and let the shower steam do its work.

I’m addicted to lotion and take it with me everywhere. (Seriously, everywhere.) On Sundays when I have extra time to sit around and soak, I coat myself generously in Kiehl’s Creme de Corps. The best part is that I smell like a walking sugar cookie.

Even if I’m not wearing makeup, I double-cleanse every night, first with Heimish All Clean Balm, followed by Neogen Cereal Real Fresh Foam Cleanser.

Now’s the time to really scrub away all the yuck that’s accumulated over the week. I do this with the Mizon Apple Smoothie Peeling Gel. It balls up into little bits that are allegedly dead skin, which is satisfyingly revolting. It could be a total fluke, but my skin definitely feels smoother after it’s rinsed away.

Toner and essence up next! Are you exhausted yet? I’ve been loving the Ultra Facial Toner from Kiehl’s and the Etude House Moistfull Collagen Essence, which are both affordable and effective.

The K-beauty step you’ve been waiting for: the all-mighty sheet mask! Since I have a small, rounder face, I really love masks with a gel texture, like the Manefit Bling Bling Soothing Aqua Collagen. Apply, then proceed to Snapchat your terrifying face to all your exes.

It’d be a shame if all that masking went to waste, which is why I seal it in with the Make P:rem Safe Relief Cream. Deep in my heart I think eye cream is a fluke, but I still apply The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% around my eyes in desperate hope it’ll somehow reverse my genetically gifted dark circles.

It wouldn’t be a true spa experience if I didn’t drift off to sleep while wearing yet another mask. The best sleeping pack around is Glow Recipe’s Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask. I only need a thin layer to wake up to bouncy skin, and it smells like I’ve just drenched my skin in Jolly Ranchers. Win-win!
