How to Dress Like a Paula Cademartori Bag

If we could be any bag, it would be this colorful Italian favorite.

When we visited designer Paula Cademartori’s closet, we realized everything looked a bit familiar—it didn’t take us long to realize that’s because her personal wardrobe is a direct reflection of her accessory design. It’s hard not to see where her inspiration comes from after seeing everything she wears. She doesn’t own much black, and every dress she has has a detail that makes it fun. Paula’s accessories are practically made for standing out in a crowd–with colors that span the rainbow and patterns reminiscent of abstract contemporary art. In other words, everything we shoot for when were getting dressed.

Forget the unicorn trend and just be a rainbow instead.

Stop taking yourself so seriously and set aside all the black in your closet. With spring in full swing and summer just around the corner, this shouldn’t be too hard. Expand your horizons, and when you’re picking out your outfit, just think of somewhere over the rainbow.

Everything’s better with a little bit of silver.

All of Paula’s bags have a signature silver buckle. Luckily, whether it’s a pair of sunglasses, a maxi skirt, or a leather jacket, most articles of clothing can be found in all-silver. A little sparkle goes a long way, but why just stop at a little when you can just do a lot?

A dress is most fun when it has a pattern (or two or three) on it.

Paula’s bags don’t just stick to one style, and what makes them so exciting is how unexpected the color or pattern pairing is. From floral to plaid and abstract to classic, these dresses have it all at once, much like Paula’s bags.

And if you need some inspiration, you know where to look.

Look no further than a Paula Cademartori bag. If you’re anything like us, you’ll fall in love with more than one and you’ll fully understand our desire to feel as fun as they look.
