Congrats Are In Order for Nicki Minaj
There is no denying the hip-hop superstar is *killing it* this year.
Nicki Minaj is no stranger to the fashion world—she has sat front row at some of the biggest shows, has been featured in many a campaign, and is constantly turning heads with her OTT outfits (hi, remember Paris fashion week?). We can’t really say that we were totally surprised when we heard that the hip-hop star inked a deal with Wilhelmina as the newest model to join their celebrity division. It’s already been quite the year for Minaj—not only has she been everywhere in the news over her beef with a certain, uh, female rapper, but she also broke the record for most top 100 Billboard hits by a female artist. NBD.
Minaj released a statement re: her latest venture, explaining that music inspires her fashion and adding in that she is “thrilled and honored to have signed with Wilhelmina. They get me.” We don’t know about you guys, but we personally can’t wait to see what the agency and the rapper have in store for us.
