Getting Ready for the Golden Globes with Zoey Deutch

One of our all-time favorite things about our job is getting invited by our friends to hang out pre-(insert glamorous event here) and play dress up in couture. Honestly, how could that scenario ever get old? So when Zoey Deutch, actress (you might know her from the just-released Why Him?) and hilarious person (seriously, we were in stitches the entire time), welcomed us into her Studio City home while she prepped for the Golden GlobesInStyle screening party, there was no way we were going to miss it. The pre-game is the best part, right?

We arrived just as Cov-alum makeup artist Lauren Andersen was applying a final sweep of pigment to Deutch’s lips and hair stylist Kylee Heath was doing her thing on her hair. Just before slipping into her floor-length Fausto Puglisi, Deutch regaled us with stories of getting her pup a DNA test, why she always goes for late-night gyozas from Trader Joes, and how she never seems to be productive while in the hair-and-makeup chair before a big event. We might be to blame for that one!

Then stylist Elizabeth Stewart helped Deutch into her sky-high heels and she was whisked away to the main event.
