Most other zodiac signs would wince if we told them that their ruling planet was the responsibility planet, Saturn, but not Capricorn. You’re into it. It’s a good-luck charm for you. On December 10, use the sun’s meetup with Saturn in your twelfth house of closure as a way to tie up any loose ends before you kick everyone else’s ass in 2017. You heard it here first. 2017 is going to be your year.

Next, December 13 brings a Gemini full moon to your sixth house of health and habits. It sweeps out anything outdated or ineffective, in preparation for the new year. Lady Luna gets an assist from Mars in Aquarius and Jupiter in Libra in your income and career houses, respectively, so needless to say you’re upping your professional ante. If there was to be a problem here, it would be Saturn in your privacy sector asking for more rest than your schedule allows, but electric Uranus at the base of your chart lets you run for hours.

This month, you’ll probably feel out of sorts as Mercury prepares for and then enters his retrograde phase in your sign December 19. Mercury is known as the “trickster,” and he’s twisting the way you feel about yourself. Luckily, your highly practical sign can’t be played, especially once the sun enters your sign on December 21. When the sun and Mercury align a week later, you get a message that helps you solve any personal puzzles you’ve been dealt.

On Christmas Eve, your ruling planet, Saturn, syncs with Uranus, allowing people with clashing opinions to come together with shared curiosity. You’ll get more insight on December 29, when a new moon in your sign teams up with Mercury retrograde and Pluto to transform the way others view you, and the way you view yourself. Mars and Neptune in Pisces support the transition, so try to think of your communications to others as songs. If you had to sum it up in one chorus, how would it go?
