Technically speaking, there’s not really a “wedding season” anymore. Couples are getting married 24/7 during weeks and weekends in destinations worldwide. RIP to our parents’ days of tying the knot over the course of one simple evening—but, we digress. What this all really means is that whether you’re a bride or not, you’re going to need a different look for a snow-covered wedding in the mountains than July nuptials on the beach. Y’know? So we spent an afternoon dreaming up different looks, playing around with makeup (our favorite kind of afternoon), creating three completely different bridal beauty looks and then trying them on. The best part is, whether you’re getting married, thinking about it, or just serving as the ever-loyal bridesmaid for the fifteenth time, you can try the look on yourself without having to drop a hundred on new makeup at Sephora, by downloading the makeover app YouCam Makeup. Playing around with the different looks we created on the app is kind of like the “pretty filter” on Snapchat, but way better.

1. Ethereal

Gold eyes and a nude lip

A heavy gold-washed eye and natural lip looks extra glow-y. This ethereal look is perfect for a beach wedding, since it’s natural but with a tinge of sparkle, thanks to gold eye shadow applied on the lid and lower lash line.

2. Autumnal

Wine-stained lips

This look is perfect for a fall or winter wedding because of the bold dark lip, which really pops against a white gown. Paint the lips a merlot-colored shade of lipstick, add bronzer to warm the skin up and keep the rest of your face clean and fresh.

3. Classic

Long lashes and bright cheeks

A baby-doll-inspired take on classic wedding makeup. Add dramatic false eyelashes, a heavy hand of blush, and a glossy pink lip to tie the whole thing together.
