October 2016 Horoscopes: Taurus
APRIL 20 – MAY 20
Your month starts off on the heels of a lucky new moon in fellow Venus-ruled Libra, so you’re riding the high of some well-deserved success. Your patroness, now in your relationships sector, syncs up with romantic Neptune in Pisces on the 1st, sending lots of swanky invitations your way. Enjoy the limelight, especially as she moves into good alignment with Pluto in Capricorn on the 5th, putting you into position for a big pitch or power maneuver, should you choose to make one. By the time Mercury enters Libra on the 7th, you’ll be the name on everyone’s lips.
If there was to be a problem, it would be on the 11th, when the feels finally catch up with you. We know you’re hardworking, Taurus, but everyone has to take a break eventually. On the 16th, the Aries full moon in your spirituality zone brings you the rest and relaxation you’ve been craving—whether you want it or not. It’s on Uranus, so a sudden shift in your vibe could mean you need to give your mind, body, and spirit some TLC. Mercury opposite Lady Luna means you might have to cancel a few things, so try to plan ahead. On the plus side, Mars and Pluto in your travel sector make this the perfect time for a personal retreat.
On the 16th, your ruling planet, Venus, moves from brooding Scorpio into wild child Sagittarius. If you’ve been feeling more serious than usual, this will be a major mood booster. Watch out for the urge to impulse buy or buy a one-way ticket you can’t afford on the 25th when Venus squares off with dreamy Neptune. It’s all great in theory, but the reality won’t be what you expect. Luckily, Venus and Jupiter conspire, each in the other’s ruling sign, to make your daily grind feel like the Instagram-edited life you’ve been secretly coveting. When the love goddess meets up with Saturn on the 29th, you’re presented with an opportunity that can make that feeling last. Take it.
The sun enters spooky Scorpio on the 22nd, followed by Mercury on the 24th, turning up the fate factor in your relationships. The Scorpio new moon on the 30th intensifies the effect, setting the mood for all your Stranger Things-themed Halloween parties. With Neptune in the mix, you’ll be wondering if your world has suddenly turned upside down. But not to worry, any weird texts or intense attractions have more to do with how you view your role in relationships than they do the other person themselves. They’re just the messenger, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy it while it lasts.
