You might expect the morning after a major awards show to look a little different than it did for Karrueche Tran when we met her—as in, a little more sunglasses-and-Advil and less fully-conscious and prepping for a photo shoot (!) at eight in the morning. But that's precisely how we found Tran the A.M. following the iHeart Radio Awards. We walked in while she was in the midst of hair and makeup, wrapped in a fluffy white robe with a plate of eggs, avocado and bacon in her lap as she thumbed through her phone. If only our morning-afters could look quite so ideal (they're more likely to include harried Uber rides and desperately trying to locate our under-eye concealer, if we're being honest).

Once Karrueche was photoready, it was time to paw through the edited rolling rack of Diesel standouts waiting for us in the bedroom. We watched as she expertly sorted through the collection of paisley, denim and leather, outfitting herself in a handful of street-style-y ensembles (we're especially partial to that denim moto, paisley gown and white sneaker combo) before jumping in front of the camera.

While Tran planned out a litany of Coachella outfits, we got to talking everything from beauty (including her new collaboration with ColorPop—girl is a serious beauty obsessive. Trust, we saw her makeup bag) to online dating (hard to pull off when you're Tran, TBH) to her attraction to our two favorite shoes on the cool-girl spectrum: leather ankle booties and sneakers. We won't lie—a few things from our shoot may have made their way home with Tran for the festival, too. Not that we blame her or anything—we were eyeing that zipper-covered leather backpack and denim-jacket-and-mini-skirt co-ord from the moment we walked in the door.
